The sports club “Try-Axis Shukugawa” in Kagura-cho along National Route 2 appears to be closing.
(This information was provided by Pino-san, Bashin-san, and Kaeitsu & Okki @ Nishitsu SP.)
Here’s the notice↓

It says the facility will close as of Thursday, April 30. The reasons seem to include rising repair costs due to aging facilities and higher utility expenses.
Those with locker contracts will receive refunds for May onward. No cancellation procedure is required, and transferring to a nearby partner facility will apparently be free for the first month. Children’s swimming lessons will also be able to continue. Make-up lessons for April are available until April 30, so it may be best to check early.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 8-10 Kagura-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area around “Try-Axis Shukugawa”

This is across the street.

If you go this way, you’ll find Sukesan Udon, Kura Sushi, Mokkosu Ramen, and more, heading toward Hanshin Nishinomiya.

In the opposite direction, you cross the Shukugawa River and pass Life, Domino’s Pizza, Ringer Hut, and others, heading toward Ashiya.

Try-Axis occupies the 2nd to 4th floors. The signs for Kinton Honpo and Tischler, which are no longer there, are still listed too.
Finally

This full-service fitness club near the station has a pool, machine gym, studios, and more. It also offered programs like a kids’ swimming school, so some of our readers may have used it before. The building is about 45 years old, and it’s sad to see a facility that has operated in Nishinomiya for so long close down.
※Pino-san, Bashin-san, and Kaeitsu & Okki @ Nishitsu SP, thank you very much for the information!!
