- The Hankyu Line area has the highest number of bicycle parking locations as well as the largest total capacity.
- The Hanshin Line area has more locations than the JR Line area, but its total capacity is lower than JR’s, which shows that each individual bicycle parking area tends to be smaller.
The number of stations along the Hankyu Line is listed as “9,” but there are actually “8” Hankyu stations in Nishinomiya.
Why?! I thought, so I looked into it and found that Hankyu Nigawa Station was included.
Nigawa Station’s address is in Takarazuka City, but it turns out the bicycle parking area’s address is in Nishinomiya City.

That clears things up a bit~
Nishinomiya City has been carrying out various initiatives for public bicycle parking facilities.
At Nishinomiya-kitaguchi, facilities have been introduced to make bicycle parking more comfortable for users, including bicycle parking areas that use underground space and gate systems that use IC tags.

This is exactly what we covered before on Nishitsu in the article “Bicycles are being sucked in at Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Ekimae Park!”
