The Kurakuen-guchi “鮨たかまさ”, which Niko-chan has written about before on Nishitsu (#^.^#)
I’d always thought it felt a little too fancy for me to go, but then…
believe it or not, their chirashi sushi
is available for takeout for ¥3500 (tax included), Niko-chan told me (^_^)v
Yaaaysu-shi!(^^)!

So exciting (#^.^#)

Ta-da!

And up close, boom!!

Even served onto a plate, it still looks luxurious!
The sushi rice is made with red vinegar (*^^)v
I’d always heard from Niko-chan that the sushi at “鮨たかまさ” is “seriously, seriously delicious”…
It seems the toppings vary slightly depending on the day,
but with those large salmon roe scattered all over, it’s like a jewel box! I feel like I’ve heard that phrase somewhere before ^^;
The tamagoyaki has a slightly orange look, is moist, and has a delicate seasoning that’s hard to describe.
The seeds have been removed from the cucumber too, giving it a nice firm presence.
There was even seasonal firefly squid on top! The conger eel, shrimp, kohada, and even the kanpyo, which can easily end up as a supporting player, all felt like they were performing together in an orchestra inside the box (#^.^#)
This chirashi sushi that’s delicious to look at was, of course, delicious to eat too (^_^)v
