That place is “Tajikanocho”… It’s part of Nishinomiya City now, but believe it or not, until April 1969 it was part of Amagasaki City. Amagasaki City’s “Tajikanocho” and Nishinomiya City’s “Heizaemon,” both enclaves, were exchanged.

From that day on, the border between Nishinomiya City and Amagasaki City became clearly defined by the Muko River (^^)v
But traces of “Tajikanocho” once being part of Amagasaki still remain today!(^^)! （The photo shows a facility located in Tajikanocho）

When you make the city boundary easy to see like this, you can tell that you have to cross Takarazuka City’s “Nigawaguchi Bridge” to get to Nishinomiya City’s “Tajikanocho.”
And believe it or not, we also found out that Nishinomiya City borders Itami City across the river!
