The rainy season still isn’t over, but we’ve had a run of hot days,
so I went to try the shaved ice at “夙川桜庵”, located just north of Shukugawa Station ヽ(^o^)丿
Doesn’t authentic homemade syrup made by a pâtissier! sound tempting?
The 2nd and 3rd floors are “夙川トリニティ”, and the shaved ice at “夙川桜庵” on the 1st floor is available for a limited season only!
It’s closed during the winter! But apparently you can still have it at “夙川トリニティ,” though the selection is limited (*^^)v
What I Had at “夙川桜庵”

“Edible Mixed Juice” ¥891 (before tax)
Just as the name suggests, it tastes like mixed juice (^^) though I didn’t really get a banana flavor.
Fresh fruit was scattered throughout in a colorful way,
and it was tasty enough to finish every last bit ヽ(^o^)丿
No wonder it’s the most popular item

“Mango Lassi” ¥727 (before tax)
Plenty of mango (^^)
The flavor is just like that lassi you enjoy after Indian food!
The fluffy ice was mango-flavored all the way through ヽ(^o^)丿
Here’s why the shaved ice is so good ↓

Even for me, someone who’s not great with cold treats, it was easy to keep eating! As expected, it was completely different from the gritty shaved ice you get at night stalls ヽ(^o^)丿
The Menu at “夙川桜庵”

This time I had the small size, but they also have a large size (*^^)v

This menu looks tempting too (#^.^#)

From the ice and syrup to the shaving technique, their methods for making shaved ice delicious really stand out!!
The syrup made by a pâtissier is truly delicious, so why not try it this summer? ヽ(^o^)
