Sensei wrote about this back in May.
The twin towers have gotten bigger \(^o^)/I wonder how big they’re going to get…

According to Sensei’s research, these towers are part of the
“Hyogo Prefecture Port Storm Surge Countermeasure Project.”
After looking into it, it seems they are building a “water gate” to prevent tsunami waves from traveling up the river and flooding a wide area.
So these twin towers were actually a “water gate”!
Hyogo Prefecture estimates that a massive Nankai Trough earthquake could send a tsunami of up to 3.7 meters into Nishinomiya City, and this is a measure to protect residents’ lives from that threat.

It’s an impressive water gate, isn’t it?
As for Imazu Lighthouse, its owner, the sake brewing company “Ozeki,” is apparently considering relocating it…
I hope it continues to serve as a lighthouse!! It’s a lighthouse that shines a green light!(^^)!
Here’s the location↓
The address is 1-13 Imazu Masagocho, Nishinomiya City.
