The Hanshin Tigers are considering moving their farm team’s home base from Naruohama to Amagasaki.
The planned relocation site is Oda Minami Park, located about a 5-minute walk from Hanshin Daimotsu Station.

The address is 3-15-10 Kuise Minamishinmachi, Amagasaki City.
According to an October 2 article by Daily Sports, Hanshin has submitted plans and other documents for building a main stadium, sub-stadium, indoor training facility, and player dormitory. It appears the project will proceed with Hanshin developing the facilities and then transferring them to the city. The opening is targeted for 2025, five years from now, and an explanatory meeting for nearby residents is expected to be held soon.
The reasons for the move seem to be the aging facilities and the limited space in the stands and indoor training area.
It’s a little sad to think that Nishinomiya may no longer have a farm team training facility, but we’re looking forward to seeing Hanshin’s players thrive!!!!!
