The “Yakiniku Kacchan” in Imazu, which we wrote about the other day, seems to be doing something futuristic and fun again~(^_^)
Here’s our article about Yakiniku Kacchan↓↓
According to our source, PRTIMES, it looks like the “Kacchan Group” is starting a trial at two of its locations using SoftBank Robotics’ food-serving and delivery robot “Servi”.
Apparently the name Servi comes from “Serv” as in serving, plus “i” for love😀
What is “Servi”?
※Captured from the SoftBank Robotics website
- It rotates 360 degrees, so it’s easy to take dishes from any side
- Simple operation: just choose the destination and press the GO button I want to try pressing the Go button
- It can clear lots of dishes in one trip, too (up to 35 kg)Maybe about the average weight of a 10- or 11-year-old?
- Excellent stability Looks like you wouldn’t have to worry about soup spilling
- It can move smoothly even through 60 cm-wide aisles That’s a sleek body
- With a 3D camera and LiDAR sensor, it can pass by people smoothly Apparently LiDAR can measure distance to objects and detect their characteristics
- It smoothly avoids small obstacles, too Feels like it just glides around
- It has a weight sensor, and once items are picked up, it automatically returns to the pantry So smart
If you’d like to see it in a video, here you go↓↓

By the way, it looks like Servi will also be at the Sunshine Wharf Kobe location during the same period.
