A reader let us know that there’s a Nishinomiya Castle Ruins and Nishinomiya Kofun in Nara Prefecture! ＼(^o^)／
I really wanted to ride my bicycle there, keeping my eyes peeled for any other Nishinomiya spots, and make it all the way up steep Mt. Ikoma, which is as rugged as Mt. Rokko… ^^;
But this time, I made use of modern-day wisdom! It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes by train with transfers ^^;

Nishinomiya Kofun
This Nishinomiya Kofun is not just written that way; it’s properly pronounced Nishinomiya too ＼(^o^)／
Believe it or not, it’s a cultural property designated by Nara Prefecture!!!

Nishinomiya Kofun is located on the south side of Heguri Central Park, and apparently visitors can use the park’s parking lot.
