Yakitori Masaya JR Koshienguchi Station North Side, which opened this month at the north exit of JR Koshienguchi Station, turned out to be a very takeout-friendly spot, so we went and picked some up right away!

Ahhh! It smells so good!! Let’s open it already〜🍺

What We Bought at Yakitori Masaya

Here’s everything we bought〜🍺

Yakitori Set Salt (cartilage, gizzard, neck meat, chicken skin, chicken tenderloin) 5 skewers 599 yen(excluding tax)
Being able to eat seseri and gizzard yakitori at home is pure happiness〜😍

Yakitori Set Sauce (tsukune, bonjiri, chicken meat, chicken skin, liver) 5 skewers 599 yen(excluding tax)
All the easy-to-eat skewers were taken by the kids😢… but I managed to protect the bonjiri😂👍

Cheese Sausage 150 yen, Shiso Roll 165 yen, Heart 150 yen, Negimi 150 yen(each excluding tax)
The shiso roll is so good〜🍺

Karaage, 1 piece 80 yen(excluding tax)
It’s juicy and crispy♪ A big piece of karaage for 80 yen! (5 pieces for 399 yen, 10 pieces for 799 yen)
Buying just the karaage as a side dish for dinner sounds pretty good too〜😏

Store Information for “Yakitori Masaya JR Koshienguchi Station North Side”

Next to the door into the shop, there’s a takeout-only window〜!

When the shop opens, the lights come on and it looks like this.
It’s right outside the ticket gate, so you can totally “grab some on the way home from work〜🍺”😋

There’s takeout yakitori in the display case.
Just like at a department store food hall, you can point and say “this one and this one…”👌

Final Thoughts
The shop name “Station North Side” has a nice ring to it😂
It looks like the original “JR Koshienguchi Shop” in Honwaka Shopping Street has become “JR Koshienguchi Station South Side.”
With COVID cases rising again and the year-end/New Year period likely to bring more staying home and holding back, it feels like more people will be drinking at home😌
It’s easy to end up going out to restaurants less, so it really helps when more places offer takeout〜🙏
