The swings won’t be removed, but a safety fence, which is now required under safety standards, will apparently be installed.

For kids, not being able to use the playground equipment during construction might be a pretty big deal. Even after the new equipment is installed, it looks like the barricades can’t be removed until inspections are complete, so everyone will have to wait until around late February to early March. Koshi Park No. 4 is nearby.
