Photos of the September 29 Jugoya moon were sent in by Nishitsu readers.

From Yu-san. Taken from Imazu. Makes you want to eat tsukimi dango.

From Sasako, a Nishitsu supporter. It’s perfectly round. You can clearly see the rabbit shape too.

From Taa-san. The rabbit’s shadow is really clear. Apparently the next time the Chushu no Meigetsu and the full moon fall on the same day will be seven years from now. So, 2030. Wonder what everyone will be up to then.
Thank you very much for sending in your photos!!!

Tomorrow, Friday, September 29, is Jugoya, the Mid-Autumn Moon, and it looks like Nishinomiya will have clear weather.

This is the Jugoya moon photographed three years ago. It’s Nishinomiya Bridge.

When it has just risen, it looks this big, so definitely try taking some photos.
Just one month ago, we mentioned that the Super Blue Moon would be visible in Nishinomiya, but many people probably couldn’t see it because it was cloudy. Depending on the time, it was visible though
When and where to look
It looks like it will be visible after 6 p.m. in the east. For Kobe City, it was listed as 17:51
How to take a clear photo of the moon with an iPhone
For anyone who can’t quite get a good shot of the moon with an iPhone, here’s a good way to take one.
1. On your iPhone, go to “Settings,” “Camera,” “Record Video,” and select “4K at 60 fps” (High Efficiency)
2. Open the Camera app and switch to “Video” mode
3. Point the camera at the moon and zoom in as much as possible
4. Tap the moon, then slide your finger down on the “brightness” adjustment bar that appears on the screen
5. Once the surface of the moon becomes visible, start recording video and tap the white shutter button that appears on the screen (top right in landscape mode, bottom right in portrait mode)
6. Check the photo in your album
