It looks like there was fog in Nishinomiya around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 2/20.

The fog is so thick you can’t even see the sun, and it almost looks like the camera is struggling to figure out where to focus.
These were taken from around Koyoen.
Looking at it like this, the fog close to the ground? is pretty intense too. It almost feels like being up in the mountains.
Come to think of it, there was another time a little over a year ago when the fog was really thick too.

I wonder if it looked like this today too.
Fog often seems to happen on cold nights after warm days. Basically, when water vapor in warm air comes into contact with cold air, it cools down and turns into tiny water droplets, creating fog.
Still, if you stepped outside and suddenly saw this, it must have felt like something strange was going on. Pretty scary, maybe.
