Miyakko Ramen is taking on a new production method.
From an official Miyakko Ramen LINE message
Miyakko Ramen, which was founded in Kotoen in 1993 and celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, is apparently reviewing how it makes its soup and relaunching it to make it even tastier.

The Main Location’s Method Apparently Won’t Change
By the way,
the main location will keep using the same production method as when the shop was founded.
We Asked About Miyakko Ramen’s Soup Development
About this new soup development at Miyakko Ramen,

we had a quick chat with Mr. Omori of HS Food Service Co., Ltd., the company that operates Miyakko Ramen. Mr. Omori is the top apprentice of Miyakko Ramen’s founder.

This time, they spent over 10 years reviewing the soup’s production method, and another two years developing this renewed soup. It’s surprising to hear they’d been working on it for that long
Mr. Omori said, “We reviewed the production method so we could aim to become a long-established shop that lasts 100 years and pass today’s flavor on to the next generation.” Even though they’re already such a famous shop, they’re not cutting any corners. That’s probably exactly why they’ve been loved for 30 years

He said there was a real sense of urgency that, with the current approach, it would be difficult to keep protecting the Miyakko Ramen flavor they’ve maintained for the past 30 years.

Mr. Omori even made the suspenseful comment, “If we were going to let Miyakko Ramen end with our generation, there would have been no need to change the current method.” Apparently, the current method is very difficult, making it hard to pass the flavor down through generations

“But when we think about a future where children brought here by their parents grow up, and then bring their own children back to Miyakko Ramen, we knew we had to review the production method,” he said passionately. That really hits you.

With those feelings behind it, they carefully went through trial and error for this soup production renewal, and are now able to bring it to everyone with confidence. The photo is of the Itami location. This location has already been renewed
A Quick Look at the Itami Location
Located along National Route 176, this Miyakko Ramen is in Itami, though it’s almost in Takarazuka.

One of its features is that it has a spacious parking lot and many families among its customers.
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 8-52 Ogino, Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture.

They were accepting students for Try-Yaru Week, too.

The aisles are wide, making it easy to enter with a stroller.

A distinctive feature of the Itami location is that it has lots of table seating.

They also have chairs for children.

There are capsule toy machines that seem just right for little kids,

and they even have kids’ ramen and French fries! Of course, they also have the standard menu items like Miyakko Ramen
The Itami location may feel a bit more like a family-friendly branch than the Miyakko Ramen everyone knows.

With the motto “The friendliest spot in the community, bringing smiles to everyone,” Miyakko Ramen says it will keep striving to serve ramen that customers continue to love. Apparently the badge on the right differs depending on the person
In Closing
In Nishinomiya, we now have the luxury of enjoying both the main location’s unchanged, original production method and the renewed soup method at the Naka-Maeda location (the change is scheduled for early August). Nishitsu is cheering on Miyakko Ramen’s new challenge!
