A Must-See for Healthcare Workers New Meiwa Rehabilitation Hospital in Koshien Gets a Comfortable Makeover with Childcare Too Nishitsu Job Listing

Opened just this January, “Meiwa Rehabilitation Hospital” is a hospital specializing in rehabilitation, offering extensive care and support to help patients recover.

Previously, Nishi2 covered the building while it was still under construction,

but this time we went inside the brand-new hospital! I thought it was pretty rare to be able to work in a location like this, with facilities like these, and under these conditions.

We spoke with nurse Kayo-san (left) and physical therapist Honda-san (right), who had just joined “Meiwa Rehabilitation Hospital” in January.

With a Daycare Center, Moms Can Feel at Ease

To jump right in, Kayo-san, you’re working as a nurse at this hospital while leaving your child in their care, right?

That’s right. There’s a really well-equipped daycare center here, and it’s been such a big help.

What’s it like, specifically?

A bright, clean daycare room. There are lots of toys, picture books, and play equipment, so it looks like the kids can play without getting bored.

First of all, the daycare staff are very kind, and they’ve created an environment where the children can have a great time.

That’s incredibly reassuring. By the way, do they also offer nighttime childcare?

Yes, they can look after my child even when I have night shifts, so it really helps. The nighttime childcare staff are all very trustworthy, so I can focus on my work with peace of mind.

I feel like there aren’t many places that will look after children inside the hospital until nighttime, so that must be a huge help.

They even keep small crabs at the daycare, so the kids can interact with living creatures.

It’s also great that they have a grassy play yard. They can also set up a pool, so apparently the kids can enjoy water play in the summer. Playing under the blue sky sounds pretty nice.

They also have the latest model baby stroller cart, so outdoor play is fully covered too.

It must be reassuring to have a place to leave your child! But what has it actually been like working here?

The thing that surprised me most after starting work here was how good the relationships are among the staff!
