In Nishinomiya, there is a traditional sports event called the “Junior High School Joint Athletic Meet,” or Churentai for short, where all junior high school students in the city gather at Hanshin Koshien Stadium.
It’s a privilege for Nishinomiya residents
Apparently, Chinzei Suzuka’s father is a passionate Hanshin Tigers fan, and he used to take her to games from the time she was little. He also came to watch her on the day of the ceremonial first pitch. Thinking about her memory of not being able to go to Churentai, and how she said, “I hope I was able to show some filial gratitude,” she has such an earnest vibe that you can’t help but want to cheer her on!
