Nishinomiya native and Hanshin Tigers player Teruaki Sato says “Nishinomiya” four times.
Apparently, on November 30, he held a baseball clinic at Koto Elementary School, personally teaching fielding and batting to local kids, including players from his former team, the Koto Blue Thunders.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 3-33 Kanjucho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

Speaking of Teruaki Sato,

he’s also an alumnus of Nigawa Gakuin High School,

and just the other day, at the “Hanshin Tigers Championship Nishinomiya Citizens’ Report Event” held at LaLaport Koshien, he said, “Everyone in Nishinomiya is so nice.”

In the city newsletter, he also talked about how he started playing baseball in first grade and practiced with the Koto Blue Thunders. Of course, he also mentioned going to the elementary school athletics meet and Tigers games.
And now,
at the recent “Teruaki Sato Baseball Clinic,” hosted by the Teruaki Sato Supporters’ Association at Koto Elementary School,

he apparently said he’d like to hold a “Teruaki Sato Cup” someday,
“I grew up in Nishinomiya, and I was on a Nishinomiya team. If I’m doing it, then of course it’ll be in Nishinomiya.”
“I’ll think about it. In Nishinomiya, you know.”
He said 4 whole times! Nishinomiya! Honestly, he might have said it even more

Isn’t it just the best that such an incredible player is from Nishinomiya and loves Nishinomiya so much? We’re really looking forward to his performance next season, but we’re also super, super, super excited for a “Teruaki Sato Cup” in Nishinomiya!
