A lot of people had gathered around Gardens today, January 25.

Just before 6 p.m. This was at Hinata Ryokuchi in front of Gardens, the park with the police box. It looked like people had gathered for a Sanseito election speech.
There were a lot of police officers there.
Here’s what it looked like from the Gardens side.
Lots of people were also watching from the deck at Gardens.
It seems there were both people opposing and supporting them, but we were told most of the crowd appeared to be supporters.
Apparently, some of the people opposing them were playing music from the Electrical Parade and “Hotaru no Hikari.”
According to Kagayaki @ Nishitsu Supporter, the overall impression was about 200 people total, with around 30 people opposing them.
This spot is a regular place for election speeches and usually draws quite a crowd, but when this many people gather, it’s often because a well-known person is coming.
It looked like police officers were inside the area too, keeping things safe. We heard there were around 10 of them.
They were even checking bags, so security was pretty tight.
Toward Gate Building. The sidewalk was pretty packed too.
There also seemed to be some disputes with the police, making things feel rather turbulent.
The second floor area of Gardens. Compared to when Mr. Saito came before, it feels like there were fewer people.
Apparently, several Sanseito candidates gave speeches.
Oh. I’ve seen this person before!
It’s party leader Sohei Kamiya. So that’s why so many people showed up.
It looks like Hyogo Prefectural Assembly member Makoto Masuyama was there too.
It’ll be interesting to see whether party leaders from other parties also come here for House of Representatives election speeches going forward.
Apparently, they wrapped things up with “1, 2, Sanseito!” Maybe that’s their usual chant.
So that’s our report on the huge crowd that showed up at Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi.
