The section where we turn “a quick question for readers + results from the previous question” into an article: “Nishitsu Survey (tentative)”??.

What facility do you wish Nishinomiya had?

Costco

If Amagasaki has one, I want Nishinomiya to have a Costco too. It’s disappointing that the former Asahi Beer site is mostly hospitals. The reason I want Costco is that I always want to buy their cheap whole roasted chicken and frozen pizza. The fast food is affordable too. I don’t have a car, so it would be convenient if there were one in Nishinomiya.

If Amagasaki has one, I want Nishinomiya to have one too. It’s simply because it would be nice to have a Costco. I really wish they had built Costco on that huge former Asahi Beer site. It’s disappointing that it’s mostly hospitals.

100-Yen Shop

Even in higher-elevation areas, electric bicycles have become very common, but it’s inconvenient because you have to go down to the flatlands for repair shops. There’s no Daiso that’s easy to get to from the Kurakuen and Koyoen areas…

There are currently some 100-yen sections inside ACTA and MaxValu, but compared with dedicated 100-yen shops, the product selection is limited.

Dog Run

Unless you drive outside the city, there’s nowhere dogs can run around freely. Also, there are many people letting dogs off leash at the beach, so I think having a nearby dog run would help prevent trouble.

In the past, it was fun and easy to do at the Picnic Center. I don’t really know the Nishinomiyahama area, so I haven’t gone there.

There is Tomato in Murogawacho, but ROUND1 offers not only bowling, but also table tennis, billiards, batting cages, and other sports.
Bowling is a good deal too; if you go as a family on Saturdays, elementary school kids can be free.
Right now we go all the way to Itami, and I feel like there’s still land around the former Asahi Beer factory site, so I’d be happy if one opened around there.

Super Sento

There are ones in Ashiya and Naruohama, but there isn’t a large super sento in the Hanshin Nishinomiya or JR Nishinomiya areas…
If it were nearby, I could go after work too…

I want a Matsuya, Sukiya, or Yoshinoya in front of the station.

Koshien definitely has too few soba restaurants. Even when I think, “I want to eat soba!” there isn’t one, which is disappointing.

I want a European-style streetscape lined with street-level cafes, bars, hotels, luxury boutiques, and more. For example, a European version of Kobe’s Nankinmachi. Old Sannomiya
It would be nice if an elegant district along the Koyo Line felt like another country: stylish, safe and secure, with good manners and no littering～～.

Because there aren’t any large cafes nearby that you can go to by car.

A training facility along the beach. It would be fun to work out under the sun, and it would improve the health of Nishinomiya residents. It originated in Santa Monica, LA, and in Japan there’s one in Aoshima, Miyazaki. Please bring one to Nishinomiya too!

Because there isn’t an amusement park nearby where I can take the kids. When I was a child, I used to go to Takarazuka Family Land. On dates too.

Reasonably priced Edomae sushi restaurant
There are conveyor belt sushi places and extremely expensive sushi restaurants, but there are no mid-range places that are reasonably priced while still serving authentic Edomae sushi.
Not a course meal, but around 5,000 yen per person à la carte, excluding drinks.

If they all came true, Nishinomiya might even become No. 1 in Japan in the ranking of towns people want to live in～(^^♪

Next time, the theme is

“What did you do during recess when you were in elementary school?”

This time, we tried making the survey one that doesn’t have much to do with Nishinomiya or Nishitsu.

We thought it would be fun if there were games unique to Miyakko kids, games that were only popular at certain elementary schools, or games kids created themselves. Also, since this is our third survey, we wanted to make the question a little more relaxed～😀
