Koshikiiwa Shrine will hold its Reitaisai (annual grand festival). A Reitaisai is the most important festival day of the year, held on a day connected to the shrine.
On September 22 and 23, the “Danjiri Parade” will be held as part of the Koshikiiwa Shrine Autumn Festival.

Danjiri Parade Overview
The Danjiri Parade, one of the liveliest events of the autumn festival for the local community, is held to pray for a bountiful harvest, good health, and thriving business.
The Danjiri Parade is organized by the “Koshikiiwa Jiguruma Preservation Society.” Two danjiri floats managed by the society parade through various parts of the neighborhood, from their departure from the shrine after the Reitaisai on September 22 until their return to the shrine on September 23, while performing danjiri music as an offering to the deity.Koshikiiwa Shrine Blog quoted from
