It looks like some community centers are starting to lend out mobile Wi-Fi devices.
(Thanks to Hank-san for the tip!)
Here it is ↓

It seems this will be available for a limited period from January 4 to March 24. The start date appears to differ depending on the facility.
There are three participating facilities.
- Kabuto Community Center
- Yatsumatsu Community Center
- Koroen Community Center
Renting a Community Center Room Is Surprisingly Cheap
You can rent rooms at community centers, but did you know they’re incredibly cheap? We looked into the three community centers included this time~
Images on this page are quoted from “District Community Centers | Nishinomiya City Website.”
Kabuto Community Center

A 10-tatami Japanese-style room. It fits 15 people, and it’s 250 yen for 3 hours in the morning. So cheap
From noon to 5 p.m. it’s also just 400 yen. And “late night” from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. is 1,000 yen. A year-end party here would be incredibly affordable~

The photo is a little dark, but it doesn’t look old. If anything, it actually looks kind of new.
Yatsumatsu Community Center

Easy to use for people around Koshien, too. A 10-tatami Japanese-style room for 350 yen in the afternoon or evening is a price that would even surprise Kaikatsu CLUB lol

A hanging scroll!! The definition of a Japanese-style room. Visitors from overseas would probably love it~ lol
Koroen Community Center

So many rooms!
This is a newer facility, and there are no Japanese-style rooms!!! Not that it has to be a Japanese-style room or anything lol

It really is nice and clean~~!! Love how bright and white it is.

It even has a cooking room! Pretty surprising, right? And you can use it for 350 to 550 yen. Basically volunteer-level pricing
For inquiries about availability and other details, please see here.
Finally
Reservations are apparently made in person starting on the 1st of each month, but for people nearby, it seems pretty convenient and maybe worth using. Now that Wi-Fi is available too, if you’d like to use it for things like web meetings or dance practice, you might want to inquire about it.
*Hank-san, thank you for the tip!!
