From 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 2

The location is Building 4 of Mukogawa Danchi. Around the area marked UR01.

If you’re coming from Mukodan Mall, enter Mukogawa Danchi from the road between Sakai Coffee and the plaza, and it’s right there.
Event Details
- Unveiling ceremony for the railway monument
- Oni-yoke soup (Setsubun soup) First 100 people
- Blue-body train keychains First 100 people
- Stroll with Miyatan
- Bean-throwing with Miyatan

The oni-yoke soup looks something like this. It has beans in it.

It looks like you’ll be strolling around the stations together with Miyatan.
Let’s go take a quick look at the new stations. But if you haven’t been there yet, this might be a spoiler, so maybe don’t look.

Around the event venue. This is

“Mukogawa Danchi Higashiguchi Station.” And that big thing is

a memorial display made from the wheels of a blue-body train. It must look even bigger in person.

This is “Mukogawa Danchi Ishi no Hiroba Station.” Here, an old crosswalk has been turned into a memorial.

Next is “Mercado Mukogawa Station.” There’s a ticket gate with a slightly old-school feel.

There’s even a ticket counter! The route map for the Hanshin Mukogawa Line has been properly extended. Love the playful touch.

The final station is in the plaza with the red-body train:

“Mukogawa Danchi Station”!!! It’s also fun that the ad is for JS Nihon Sogo Juseikatsu Co., Ltd., the management company for UR properties.
In Closing
The Mukogawa Danchi area really seems to be gaining momentum. It feels like even more fun events and interesting things could happen here as a true Hanshin Railway town.
