Area around “Tsuruha Drug in Kubocho”
Tsuruha Drug will be built where the Hakushika Group’s Kubocho Minami company housing currently stands. The company housing appears to have already been closed.
Across the street is the Ricoh Nishinomiya Office. The steel-frame structure visible beyond it is where the new “McDonald’s” we wrote about just recently is being built.
If you go this way, you’ll pass Shiyakusho-mae Line and Yomi-suji, and find places like Nihonsakari Sakagura-dori Rengakan.
If you go in the opposite direction, there are places like Henri Charpentier, Chikuyotei, the Hakutaka factory, and K’s Denki.

At the moment, demolition of the company housing hasn’t started yet, so the opening still seems to be a ways off. The Kubocho area has also been something of a blank spot for drugstores, so quite a few people may be happy about this.

Speaking of Tsuruha Drug, there’s that in-store BGM that gets stuck in your head once you hear it🤣 I looked into it a little, and apparently that melody actually had lyrics.
