Nishinomiya-hama always puts up illuminations around this time of year, so we went to check them out on the night of November 30, during the “Light Tree Lighting Ceremony.”

It has a tropical feel. The lit-up palm trees look stylish. This area is a plaza, and it had become a relaxing spot for people to gather.
Even this little plaza had illuminations.

For about 300 meters along the road, there are all kinds of illuminations the whole way, and it’s really beautiful.
These green stars are moving, and they look really nice too.
This dog doesn’t stand out much. Try your best to find it!
A waterfall and… maybe swallows? Somehow it feels very Nishinomiya-hama.
Whoa! We found a giant tree. It’s inside Nishinomiya Marina Park City Umi-no-machi.
This is the tree that was lit during the Light Tree Lighting Ceremony. The tree at the very top has a unique shape.
Exactly. It has this vibe like it exists just to be decorated as a Christmas tree.
That’s why so many people gathered here. It looks like so much fun.
Even the dog was fascinated. So cute.
Seeing illuminations in a place where local people naturally come and go like this made me think it was really wonderful.
As a neighborhood Christmas illumination spot, I’m pretty sure this is the best in Nishinomiya. Well, actually, there must still be all kinds of other illuminations around Nishinomiya too. We’ll write about them again soon.
