Kanbei, a former stray and rescue dog, has been found～～～～～～！！！！！！！！！！！！！
This is Kanbei after he was found. Maybe he’s relieved—he’s sleeping so peacefully!
What Happened
He went missing in Koshien on December 22.
He was spotted at the seaside park in Naruohama,
and was also wandering around Kobe College. The last sighting had been in Amagasaki!
There were days around Toka Ebisu, and even days when temperatures dropped below freezing, so we were really worried about whether he was okay.
On top of that, Kanbei was a former stray dog and had only recently been rescued, so he’s a timid dog who runs away right away. We had heard that capturing him would be extremely difficult. So honestly, we thought it would be very hard to secure him.
Based on the valuable information that he had been coming to Naruohama, his owner came up with a plan to lure him with food, and apparently left food at the park in Naruohama every day. Then Kanbei came almost every day at around 1 a.m. to eat. (It seems they had also set up a camera to confirm it.) Homing instinct really is a thing, isn’t it!
But because he would run away immediately, they set things up like this so Kanbei could be captured in a trap.
At around 1 a.m. on January 20, he was safely rescued～～～！！His owner had been searching under truly difficult circumstances for this past month, and thinking about how painful it must have been😭 We’re so glad he was found!
