Quoted from Let’s Draw the Revived Leopon Taxidermy “Johnny”! |Nishinomiya City Website
Born in 1961 from a cross between a leopard father and a lion mother, the “leopon” 🐆
It was a popular attraction at Koshien Hanshin Park(now LaLaport Koshien), and after it passed away, its taxidermy was displayed at the park and later at the former Reso Naruohama.
Now, that leopon taxidermy has apparently been beautifully restored and is making its return〜😆🙌

Finally
The “leopon” is an extremely rare animal, with only a handful of confirmed cases in the world 🐆 And among them, “Johnny” was the first one born in Japan, right at Koshien Hanshin Park. Whether you’re someone who saw the leopon at Hanshin Park back in the day, or someone who’s never seen one before, this definitely makes you want to go take a look〜! Kids are sure to enjoy it too, so if you’re interested, be sure to check it out〜🙌
