Here it is on the map↓
The address is around 18 Kurakuen Nibancho, Nishinomiya.
Around 6:30 AM. The scene before dawn. Cars are already parked here.

Looking at the license plates, there were 5 cars from Kobe, 3 from Naniwa, 2 from Osaka, and one each from Kyoto, Izumo, and Sakai.
Until just before 7 AM, there were about 20 people, mostly Haruhi fans.
As the sun gradually rises, more people start to gather.
As it gets closer to 7 AM, local residents start showing up too. About 100 people at this point.
And then, at 7:14 AM.
The first sunrise!
This is what it looks like from further up. The locals were completely captivated by the first sunrise too.
By the way, in 2025 there were 175 people, in 2024 there were 163 people, in 2023 also 163 people, in 2022 there were 116 people, and in 2021 there were 90 people. So this year’s turnout was actually a bit on the lower side.
In Closing
Haruhi Slope is a famous first sunrise spot in the Kurakuen area. It’s quite a trek to get there, but the view makes it all worth it. The scenery is also beautiful during nighttime and cherry blossom season, so definitely consider stopping by on a drive.
