Kawarabayashi Music Festa
When is it?
- Saturday, March 7, 2026, 10:00–11:30 a.m.
*The event may be canceled in the event of weather warnings or the spread of infectious diseases.
Where is it?
- Kawarabayashi Elementary School Gymnasium (Enter through the east gate.)
What’s happening?
It’s a concert featuring three groups.
- Kawaragi Junior High School Wind Ensemble (last year, they performed at the Kansai regional round of the wind ensemble competition)
- SPRINGS (an ensemble made up of graduates of Mukogawa Women’s University’s postgraduate music program)
- Volunteer 4th-grade students from Kawarabayashi Elementary School (recorder and singing)
Lastly
The “Kawarabayashi Music Festa” actually started with similar concerts held under a different name back in 2014 and February 2015. It hadn’t been held since 2016, so I still remember being surprised when it made a comeback last year. Thinking back to when I used to play the clarinet makes me feel nostalgic.
