This time, what made me think, “Isn’t this the latest model?!” was the Times payment machine in Imazu Mizunami-cho!

Somehow, it has no roof and no buttons ^_^; It’s actually a touch panel! The color is a sleek gray.

The conventional machines you often see look like this, with a roof and buttons. They’re Times’ image color: yellow!

There’s a touch area near the bottom, and it looks like you can also use transportation IC e-money !(^^)!
Okay, let’s try paying(^^)v

You can use a credit card too.

There’s also a help mark for when you’re not sure what to do.

From here, it’s the usual flow(^^)v

The cash section even shows realistic illustrations.

This time, I paid by credit card.

Payment complete, and that’s it!(^^)!

Lastly
I found it when I went to Matsumoto Shoten with the president for an experience-report article where we made super cute “Miya○n” and more at a warosoku Japanese candle workshop, one of only about 30 shops in Japan.
I also did a quick little search to see if there were any other places with new machines like this, but I didn’t come across any!
Personally, I couldn’t help thinking that the roof on the payment machine would be good not only for the machine, but also for the person paying ^_^;
