We Tried Bento Croquettes and Minced Cutlets from Yamaga Chikusan on the 1st Floor of ACTA East Building

The East Wing of ACTA. Right after you exit the registers at Coop, there’s 『山垣畜産』, a butcher shop with incredibly delicious meat!(^^)!

Right next door is their directly operated bento shop, 「鉄板焼弁当やまがき」, where I picked up a Wagyu rib roast bento, plus freshly fried croquettes and minced meat cutlets!

What I bought at 「鉄板焼弁当やまがき」

Wagyu Rib Roast Bento ￥990 (tax not included)…A generous serving of meat is piled right on top of a smaller portion of rice!

The meat was so tender, and it mixed perfectly with the sauce. It just made me want more rice～

My whole mouth was filled with that meaty umami～ This really is delicious meat～!!!

Just remembering the flavor makes me feel like I could eat another bowl of rice(*^^)v

The kimchi and potato salad served on the side were just right for refreshing your palate too～!(^^)!

Left: Croquette ￥95 (tax not included)…Croquettes from a butcher shop are always extra tasty, aren’t they? And with that freshly fried crunch and the delicious flavor in the potato, this one really is something special!!

Right: Minced Meat Cutlet ￥130 (tax not included)…It’s from a butcher shop, so of course the minced meat cutlet has to be good! Packed with meaty flavor and freshly fried, it was juicy and delicious!!

But you have to fry them at home before eating! Still, they’re a great deal!

If you’re eating with the whole family, this is definitely the better dealヽ(^。^)ノ

So choose depending on what you need!(^^)! The fridge at 『山垣畜産』 is packed with them!

When it’s crowded, the wait can be long, so ordering by phone might be a good idea. But since it’s inside ACTA, you can also do some shopping while you wait(*^^)v

Final Thoughts

I always have the impression that there’s a line at the 『山垣畜産』 butcher shop(*^^)v

They’ve been featured on TV and in magazines too, so maybe that proves just how good they are～

That’s right, they also appear at department store events!

The butcher shop is lined with meat that looks delicious at first glance, and the staff were answering customers’ questions clearly and recommending the meat that suited them best(*^^)v

What makes 『山垣畜産』 so delicious is that they have their own directly operated farm! Their deli items also use fresh meat!

Besides croquettes and minced meat cutlets, they had lots of other prepared foods too, like ham, sausages, hamburg steak… and more～

Their main shop is in Sanda, where people line up from early in the morning waiting for the parking lot. To think there’s a shop like that in Nishinomiya too! That’s something to be happy about!(^^)!
