There are plenty of shops in the city that have been featured in magazines, but which ramen shop is your personal favorite?

We honestly can’t hide how surprised we are by the number of responses. Everyone really does love ramen, don’t they? (^_^)

They’re famous for tonkotsu ramen, but their soy sauce ramen has honestly been delicious for years. The staff are friendly too, so it’s a pleasant place to eat.

A large-serving ramen shop with thick noodles, the kind where they ask, “Would you like garlic?” Their regular menu includes tonkotsu-shoyu ramen and mixed noodles.
On days when they hold limited-time ramen events, a line forms along the national highway.
This month is their 9th anniversary.

Every time, I order the Motomi Ramen with extra-firm noodles and rich back fat.
They also have plenty of variety, including ramen topped with seasoned egg, ramen with extra green onions, spicy HOT ramen, and lighter Japanese-style ramen.
For sides, the Shiocha-don topped with flame-seared chashu is delicious.

The ramen, fried rice, and gyoza are all delicious. The green onions in the ramen are exceptional. The soup is in a league of its own. Of course, the noodles are too. But lately it feels like the portions have gotten smaller, especially the soup.

I recommend the dashi salt ramen. I don’t usually like salt ramen much, but after eating it here, I got hooked. Still, this is the only place where I eat salt ramen. lol
