There’s a segment called “Nandeyanen!?” on ABC TV’s “Cast.”
In the December 14 broadcast of “Nandeyanen!?”, based on a tip from a reader saying “There’s a strange rock in the mountains of Nishinomiya that looks like something from Demon Slayer,” announcer Furukawa went to Kabutoyama Forest Park to search for a rock split clean in two and investigate the mystery behind it~

Once we heard it was in Kabutoyama Forest Park, there was no way we could resist looking for it~!!
So,
and
, who have never seen Demon Slayer even once,
went out to look for a rock that’s supposedly like the one in Demon Slayer, despite having absolutely no idea what it looked like.
A rock like the one in “Demon Slayer”

Guided by Mama @ Nishi2, who knows Kabutoyama Forest Park well, we headed along the light hiking trail! Carrying a handmade sword made by Mama @ Nishi2

There were stone cairns you often see on hiking trails,

rocks that looked like they had been split in two by trees,

and rocks that looked like they had demon bite marks on them~

There were bite mark-like traces here too.
*The bite mark-like stones are marks left by iron wedges called “ya,” tools used to split rocks.

Apparently there’s a scene where someone cuts a rock during training very thin information
Whenever we found a rock that looked vaguely split, (though this one clearly isn’t split, it’s just two separate rocks) we tried pretending to cut it with the sword…

We had so little idea what we were doing that we just tried making it look like we were cutting sideways for now We were serious

We searched really hard, but couldn’t find a rock that looked like it had been cut clean in two Sorry about that

Unable to find the rock we were after, we ended up desperately wrestling with a rock instead.
It seems we accidentally took a different path from the light hiking trail announcer Furukawa walked.
A reader sent us information saying they had found a rock like the one in Demon Slayer. ↓↓

(From “Miyakko since birth”) They said it was on the way to the observation deck~
Thank you very much.

This one also came from a reader, who said it’s between the entrance on the Kwansei Gakuin side and the rest house. Thank you!
If you’re curious, please head out and try looking for the Demon Slayer-like rock~
