It looks like Nishinomiya Higashi High School made a gacha machine in collaboration with Koshienguchi Honwaka Shopping Street as part of a class project.

What kind of gacha is it?
In a class called “Inquiry” at Nishinomiya Higashi High School, students created can badges with the goal of encouraging more people to use the nearby Honwaka Shopping Street and liven it up. They apparently set up gacha machines in cooperation with the shopping street.
Sounds like such a fun class!

The participating shops are from “Koshienguchi Center Street” in Honwaka Shopping Street.
Where the gacha machines are located
There are three locations.
One is next to the Center Street bulletin board.
Another is in front of “Patisserie Aya.”
The third seems to be next to “Nagomi Ramen.”
We spotted some ladies happily trying the gacha in front of “Patisserie Aya”!!

There was a little mishap where the gacha stopped turning😂, but a staff member from “Patisserie Aya” helped us out🙏
I felt like I was doing the gacha together with them, and it was so heartwarming😊
How to use the gacha
First, line up the indented part at the top. The knob should be facing sideways.
Place two 100-yen coins together toward the back. → Then turn the knob.

Each set includes one can badge and a coupon (either 300 yen, 200 yen, or 100 yen).
It costs 200 yen per try, and this time all of our coupons were worth 200 yen or more♪ Lucky us✌
The coupons can be used at the shops listed above! They are valid until 3/13 (Sat).
There are this many can badges! Wow! One of them was a secret one!! *It’s the mosaicked one in the photo.

Update 2/17: The gacha machines at all three locations have reportedly been restocked
They should have been restocked last weekend.
Apparently, 500 were prepared, and supplies are already running low.
But the students at Nishinomiya Higashi High School might end up becoming badge-making pros. (lol)
The installation period runs until February 26.
