Since “Nishinomiya Tsushin” is becoming “Kabutoyama Tsushin,” we looked into “Kabutoyama” (^o^)/

“Kabutoyama” in the season of fresh greenery ↑

There was a sign like this where Miyatan’s House is located (^o^)/
Over a long period of time, the ground rose and sank, and about 12 million years ago, magma pierced through the bedrock of Mount Rokko and formed a mountain (so Mount Rokko and Kabutoyama are made of different types of rock!).
After that, rain and wind eroded it, and about 3 million years ago, the area around Kabutoyama slowly began to sink and was under the sea.
Then around 300,000 years ago, it was pushed up to its current height (^^)
There are several routes to the summit, but from Miyatan’s House, it takes about 30 minutes!

There are signposts too, so you can climb without getting lost (^o^)/

Kabutoyama is 309.21 meters high, a height that even small children can climb if they give it their best (^o^)/ Parents and kids can share the sense of accomplishment together!
The perfect season for hiking is coming up.
Why not climb “Kabutoyama”, the symbol of Nishinomiya and soon to be the symbol of Kabutoyama Tsushin?
