When I went to take photos on another day, the notice was gone.
It’s hard to tell from the photo, but it has a nice shine to it. Probably impossible to tell
This was the first time I’d seen a “Freshly painted!!” notice posted on a mailbox. Even on Street View, it didn’t look like the color had faded that much, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with it looking nice and clean✨
By the way, as of 2015, a different type of post box was there.
