The other day, Shachobi picked up some “Koshien Hero-age” from the “Ouchi Deli Okazu no Reitoko” frozen side-dish vending machine in Hiramatsu-cho along Route 171.

This is the “Koshien Hero-age” we bought this time 🍗
It’s sold frozen. The package contains 500g, which apparently works out to about 19 to 25 pieces.

Koshien Hero-age has even been selected as a furusato nozei hometown tax return gift for Nishinomiya City! It was also chosen for Five Star Hyogo and the Kobe Selection 💡
The enclosed paper introduced cooking methods and a recipe site with arrangement ideas↓
There are two ways to cook it: bake it in an oven toaster or deep-fry it in oil.
This time, we’re going to bake it in the toaster like thisー♪
By the way, the “hero” in Koshien Hero-age apparently refers to “chicken wing middles split into two pieces”!! I thought it meant hero as in a heroic hero〜😂

This Hero-age is intentionally seasoned lightly.
Garlic soy sauce, ponzu, salt and pepper, curry salt, cheese, and more… It’s fun being able to try all kinds of flavors and find your favorite sauce♪
This time, we mostly ate it with salt and pepper!
As you can see, the meat is ju〜icy!!
It really does go great with beer〜〜🍺🍗

Final Thoughts
We still have a little more meat left, so next time I’m thinking of trying it with garlic soy sauce.
