There’s a Nishinomiya Story in Hankyu Ensen Kaidan
There was one set around Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi in Hankyu Kaidan.
The story is called “At the Site of Hankyu Nishinomiya Stadium.” The synopsis goes something like: “When you pass by late at night, an endless wall stretches on and on, and you can’t get out! A strange tale from another world that happened on the road beside the former stadium site.” It’s the kind of place where there’s no end and you just have to keep walking.
Since it’s now been turned into Gardens, maybe that place doesn’t exist anymore…
Nishinomiya Is in Kobe Kaidan Too?
I took a quick look, and Nishinomiya is included in Kobe Kaidan too! There are three stories: one from wartime, one about Kabutoyama, and one about Meoto Iwa.
Kabutoyama is described as one of the top mystery spots in the Hanshin area, and there’s a lot written about UFO-related stuff too.
Finally
Since the authors of these two books will be doing a kaidan talk this time, I think there’ll probably be quite a few Nishinomiya stories~ I want to go see that endless wall. I wonder where it is~
