Singer 岡崎体育 is from Nishinomiya.

On the 10/27 broadcast of Fuji TV’s “Wide na Show,” Downtown’s 松本人志 brought up something singer 岡崎体育 had posted on Twitter.
ジェットコースター怖いって言ってんのに「乗ろうや!」って強要してくる人めっちゃ怖い!もはやジェットコースターより怖い!

Regarding this post, Matsumoto focused not on the tweet, but on the profile photo of 岡崎体育!!

Because the photo showed 岡崎体育 riding a horse while dressed in what looked like Mongolian traditional clothing,
Matsumoto joked, “Is he from Ulaanbaatar?”
東野幸治 corrected him, saying “He’s from Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture”.
※Ulaanbaatar is the capital of Mongolia
Matsumoto then commented that this photo looked scarier than riding a roller coaster. “Going that far just to ride a horse, and slipping around and all that… That’s way scarier,” he said, poking fun at 岡崎体育’s photo and getting laughs.
Thanks to Wide na Show, more people now know that 岡崎体育 is from Nishinomiya City.
Of course I’m happy about 岡崎体育 becoming more well-known, but I’d also love for Nishinomiya to become even more widely known too.
That said, it seems he only lived in Nishinomiya until he was about 3 years old, so he himself might not remember much about the city…
