Familiar to many in Nishinomiya, the Spring Break Camp by じゆう時間✕CLUB NISHINOMIYA✕CHEMCHEM is about to begin!
Their summer and winter camps have been popular for their “think for yourself and experience it firsthand” style, and this time, it’s their first-ever overnight camp. Playing, meals, where to sleep… at this “free camp,” the kids get to decide everything themselves, so their “I want to try!” spirit is sure to grow fast!

Point ①: A camp where kids take on “freedom”

- They decide everything themselves, from play to meals to where they sleep!
- Staff will support them when they don’t know what to do, while respecting the kids’ independence as much as possible
- Learning through mistakes is part of what makes it fun!
Point ②: Make a knife(special program)
This is a big highlight. There’s an optional program where kids can handmake “their very own knife”! During free play time, they can make blades from stone or nails, apparently… The experience is available for 500 yen. (Advance registration required)

A Quick Summary of This Camp’s Appeal
- Because they decide for themselves, the excitement never stops!
- At night, will they sleep in a tent or outdoors in nature? They can enjoy a real sense of adventure
- They can try things they usually don’t get to experience, like knife-making!
- They’ll play their hearts out from morning to night, and you’ll really feel their independence and growth
The camp is based on the idea that “mistakes and small injuries are actually important experiences”, helping kids build a spirit of challenge in nature. (They’re also insured, so you can feel reassured just in case)
Final Thoughts
Apparently, the previous two camps became fully booked right after applications opened. This one is likely to get a lot of attention too! If you’re thinking, “I want my child to have a challenging experience over spring break,” it’s best to apply early. These two full days of “I want to try!” are sure to become unforgettable memories.
