“Tetsu-Ota Championship” is a locally focused railway variety show hosted by the comedy duo Nakagawake. Each episode focuses on railway companies around Japan and is packed with deep knowledge and stories. The show’s highlights also include niche quizzes and looks inside facilities people normally can’t enter 🚃
This episode starts from “Mukogawa Station,” where the platform is located over the river,
and incredibly, they charter the Mukogawa Line!
They also appear to visit a legendary train car at Mukogawa Danchi.
By the way, Tsuyoshi, the older brother in Nakagawake, is known as a railway fan, while Reiji, the younger brother, often does impressions of railway announcements and train conductors in their comedy sketches.
Their sketch about a real estate agency in Osaka was hilarious, packed with classic local Kansai station jokes 😂
