The seafood izakaya “ひちふくじん” under the Hankyu elevated tracks in Nishida-cho has closed.
(This information was provided by mn.)

There was a notice posted saying the tenant space is available. We weren’t able to confirm exactly when it closed, but the latest comment on Tabelog was from a visit in December 2024, so it seems the restaurant may have closed recently.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1F Sun Life Shukugawa, 5-2 Nishida-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
Area around “ひちふくじん”

This is what it looks like across the street.

Going this way, you’ll find Kita Hachi, Nishida Park, Taisha Post Office, Kotobuki Police Box, and it leads toward Hankyu Shukugawa Station.

Going in the opposite direction, you’ll find CS Burger, Miyamame Coffee, Kuhuku wa Saiko no Spice Curry, Cocokara Fine, and it leads out to Route 171.

Yajikita-san had previously visited “ひちふくじん” for lunch and tried the “Omakase 8-piece nigiri.”

Finally
It was a seafood izakaya where you could even enjoy drinks during the day, and apparently you could get fresh seafood dishes at reasonable prices, including nigiri sushi, seafood bowls, assorted sashimi, and individual seafood hot pots. It seemed like a valuable spot along this row of shops, so it’s sad to see it close.
※mn, thank you for the information!!
