The yachts from the double-handed yacht race “Melbourne Osaka Cup,” which starts in Melbourne, Australia and finishes in Osaka, are apparently docked at Shin Nishinomiya Yacht Harbor.

It looks like the yachts from the “Melbourne → Osaka Yacht Race” are all lined up at the visitor pier at Shin Nishinomiya Yacht Harbor.

Actually! A sailor named Kayoko Nakano took part in this Melbourne → Osaka Yacht Race! And apparently, she completed the race on her own yacht, “Jazz player,” becoming the first Japanese woman to finish as both owner and skipper! Amazing!!

Nakano-san has actually visited the Nishitsu office before! She told us, “I’m working hard as a sailor!” and it really left an impression on us✨
Apparently, the Australian boats that gathered in Nishinomiya this time came at Nakano-san’s invitation! So awesome.

The team introduction article is really cool too, so definitely check it out↓

By the way, the yacht race has already finished safely, and Kimura-san, who sailed around the world, wrote an article about it.
Seeing so many participating yachts from the race gathered in one place is a rare sight you can only catch right now, so why not stop by while you’re out for a walk?
*Fuu-san, thank you for the information!!
