Koshien Keyaki Promenade recently teamed up with the Republic of Nauru
They’re even selling Nauru-kun cakes at Bern, and it’s really gaining momentum here in Nishinomiya! Available from October 11 to 13
The town mascot Keyaki-kun is running in the Nishinomiya Character Election, which will be held at the upcoming Nishinomiya Citizens’ Festival
He’s scheduled to give a campaign speech at Chicken Works Koshien, his election campaign office, from 14:00 on Friday, 10/17. Apparently it’s going to be a pretty serious speech. We’re curious.
Finally
With food stalls, festival games, Miyatan coming by, and Ebessan’s “Ebisu-kaki,” it looks like it’ll be a fun festival with a very Nishinomiya feel. If you couldn’t appear in the NHK Nodo Jiman singing contest being held in Nishinomiya today, 10/12, go ahead and enter the Keyaki Festival instead〜.
