Today is Election Day〜

First, just remember these 3 things↓
②You’ll vote twice this time(mayor election + city council by-election)
③Today, you don’t “write a name” — you “mark ○”
You’ll mark ○ above the name of the person you want to vote for, like this
Quoted from Elections Using Symbol-Style Voting|Nishinomiya City Website

※Early voting(through yesterday)used the method of writing a name, but today’s Election Day voting uses the symbol-style method. The same method was used in the 2022 mayoral election

What should I bring?
If you have your admission ticket, bring it with you for a smoother process. Honestly, it’s okay even if you don’t have it. Just say, “I don’t have my admission ticket” at the polling station.
※ID is not required, but having one may make confirmation faster in some cases
Can I bring my child?
Yes, you can. Children under 18 may enter the polling station with you.
What if I need someone to accompany me?
If you need assistance, you may enter together with a companion. Please tell the staff at the polling station.
From Entering the Polling Station to Leaving
This is the most important part this time〜

①Enter the polling station
②Hand in your admission ticket at reception
(If you don’t have one, just say, “I don’t have my admission ticket”)
③After confirmation, you’ll receive a white ballot
→ This is for the mayor election
④Go to the voting booth. The candidates’ names are printed on the ballot, so mark “○” in the box above the person you want to vote for
→ You don’t write a name! Just mark ○!
⑤Put it in the ballot box(probably a silver box)
⑥Next, you’ll receive a cream-colored ballot
→ This is for the city council member by-election
⑦Mark “○” the same way and put it in the ballot box
⑧You’re done! Thanks for voting〜
