An Asahi Shimbun Sales Office Has Opened in a Former Bicycle Shop

A new “Asahi Shimbun newspaper sales shop” has opened at the former site of the sports bicycle shop “JOSH BIKES” in Namaze Higashimachi along National Route 176.

It says “Asahi Shimbun Service Anchor.” In simple terms, it’s an Asahi Shimbun newspaper sales office. Apparently, “anchor” refers to a ship’s anchor⚓️
