Hamada Onsen is an old-fashioned public bathhouse where you can enjoy free-flowing natural hot spring water right in town. It’s a longtime favorite, especially among locals, and according to reviews, the open-air bath on the second floor seems to be popular. Apparently, there’s also a sauna. It’ll be closed for a little over two weeks, so please keep that in mind if you were planning to visit.
