We went to try zenzai at the camera cafe “FRAME” in Kotoen.
First of all, isn’t a “camera cafe” kind of unusual??
I was curious, so I looked it up on Google, and it seems like there aren’t many camera cafes around.
One shop called Photo Cafe in Kobe came up, along with “FRAME,” the place we visited this time.
So yes, camera cafes really are pretty rare.
That intro got a little long, but let’s take a look inside the camera cafe “FRAME”~

The Zenzai at Camera Cafe “FRAME”

The zenzai comes with salted kombu!!
You know how after eating something sweet, you start wanting something a little salty next?
That classic “chocolate → potato chips → chocolate → potato chips” kind of endless loop.
When we tried it, this zenzai had a gentle, restrained sweetness.
According to Mama, the saltiness of the salted kombu seems to bring out the sweetness.

“Zenzai + Tea Set” \800
The hot tea is served in a pot.
For the tea, you can choose between “organic hojicha” and “naturally farmed bancha.”
Mama ordered the “hojicha.”

Niko ordered the “Iced Yuzu Tea” \350
A light yuzu aroma with the sweetness of honey~♪
I was thirsty, so I drank it right down~
It’s nice that it comes with a Lotus “Biscoff” biscuit.
For an overseas product, it’s not too sweet, and the caramel flavor is just right. It feels like a biscuit for grown-ups.
The Cafe Menu at Camera Cafe “FRAME”

It’s a small cafe, but it’s nice that they have simple sweets like zenzai and cake♪
Inside Camera Cafe “FRAME”
The shop is divided into a cafe space and a goods space.
Cafe Space

There are counter seats, plus two tables for two.

Beside the table seats, there were all kinds of books about cameras.
As I flipped through the magazines, I started thinking, “I’d love to take photos like this~,” and found myself getting more interested in cameras.
There were lots of magazines that really get you excited.

Retro cameras are so cool~!!
Camera lovers would probably find these irresistible… I’m guessing.

This camera looks really old at first glance~
I wonder if it still works?
New digital cameras and DSLRs with all kinds of convenient features keep coming out,
but older cameras have such character in their design, and in a way, that makes them really cool.
I’d like to try using one, but even today’s cameras are confusing enough for me, so it would probably be hard~

It’s nice that they have a table and chairs for small children~
Goods Space
The goods space is right by the entrance.

Just looking at cute goods is exciting, isn’t it~
Whenever I find something new, I can’t help wanting it.

They also had various types of camera film.
It’s a cafe, but of course they also offer photo development and ID photos, and it seems they hold camera classes too.
It was a very stylish and relaxing cafe!
Whether you love cameras or not, why not stop by and check it out~
