Amazon’s locker service “Amazon Hab” has been installed at the Cocokara Fine in Danjocho.
This is probably the first “Amazon Hub” in Nishinomiya!
Where “Amazon Hab” Is Installed
Here it is↓↓

That color really stands out~
Here’s the location↓↓
The address is Cocokara Fine Danjocho Store, 1-16-18 Danjocho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

It has an amazing presence, and you can spot it right away even from far away.
The official installation date is unclear, but I had been checking Amazon’s site now and then, thinking one would eventually be installed in Nishinomiya too, so it must have been recently.
The Name of the “Amazon Hub”
There are many “Amazon Hub” lockers across Japan, and each locker is given a unique name.
The name of the locker installed in Danjocho is↓↓

It’s “Cake” 🍰(*^_^*)
What a stylish name~
When a locker has a name, you can’t help wanting to call it by that name lol
Like, “Let’s meet in front of Cake at 5 today,” or “I’ll have my package delivered to Cake~”
Conversations like that may or may not happen~😀
In Osaka, they have names like these↓↓
※Captured from the Amazon website
“Horumon,” “Akindo,” “Ikayaki,” “Okan,” “Ame-chan,” “Nanboya,” “Ookini”
They really have a Kansai-dialect feel to them~
Since there’s an “Okan”, I wondered if there might be an “Oton” too, so I looked it up…
And sure enough, there was an “Oton” too~😆
It seems names like these are basically decided by the people in charge of Amazon Hub~
Here’s an article about these relaxed, fun names: here
More “Amazon Hub” lockers will probably be installed around Nishinomiya in the future, but what kinds of names will they get~?? (A quiz with no correct answer)
- プリン25%(9票)
- マカロン27.8%(10票)
- ブレッド2.8%(1票)
- ショコラ44.4%(16票)
Our Nishi2 take is that Nishinomiya might go with sweets-themed names?? (^_^)
After all, the first locker is “Cake”~😀
How to Use “Amazon Hub”

How to use it is explained here
It was explained clearly with a video, too~.
To explain it:
- When shopping on Amazon, select the locker where you want to pick up your delivery
- When the item arrives at the locker, an authentication key is sent to you
- Use the authentication key to pick up your package
It sounds super easy~(^_^)
Being able to pick up items ordered on Amazon “whenever you like” is really convenient and much appreciated~!!
