“Amazon Hub” lockers have been popping up one after another in Nishinomiya, and while we weren’t paying close attention, three more had appeared in the city!
One is the locker at “Cocokara Fine Nigawa Store” in Tajikano-cho, which Mama introduced the other day. It’s actually in Takarazuka!? That locker is called “Kaisou”.

Hmm🤔? The names are really starting to spread across all kinds of different categories!
Who decides these names, and what’s the idea behind them??
I was so curious that I asked Amazon through chat! (Sorry for asking such a silly question…)
They gave me a proper answer!
Apparently, “Amazon names them after local features and specialties in each area.”
Shrimp in Nishinomiya? Swordfish!? Maybe because lots of people here like sushi? …Well, let’s not worry about the details😂
It feels like the idea is to give the lockers friendly, familiar names, making them seem less intimidating to use so that more people will feel comfortable trying them!
I’m looking forward to seeing what kinds of names they’ll get in the future😊
It’s explained clearly with a video👌
※Yucchan-san, thank you for the information!!
