It looks like Decathlon at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens will be holding a tennis event led by tennis coaches.

On Twitter, it’s being called “Street Tennis” ↓↓

What exactly is Street Tennis??
Apparently “Street Tennis” is just the name, and it’s basically the same as regular tennis 😀
I thought maybe it was some new sport that put a little twist on tennis.

Place: Decathlon Nishinomiya “Community Area”
Time: 13:00–16:00
How to Join: No advance reservation required
It seems both kids and adults can take part, so if you’ve been thinking, “I kind of want to try tennis,” or “I’m inspired by Naomi Osaka,” this might be a good chance to get a feel for the sport.
By the way, they’ll be using non-pressure balls for practice.

What are non-pressure balls?
- They bounce using only the rubber’s elasticity, regardless of internal pressure or air pressure
- They are durable
- They are inexpensive per ball
Those are some of their features.
They seem to be practice balls that are rarely used in tournaments and similar events.
Here is the location of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens ↓↓
